About PEEI

The “Patient Education and Empowerment Initiative (PEEI)” uses PHENPath.com to address African American treatment disparities with outreach efforts to increase patient knowledge, empowering them to make shared treatment decisions with their doctors.

With information from the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) prostate cancer treatments guidelines, PHENPath.com provides patients with the most up-to-date prostate cancer treatment options recommended by the medical experts.

The PEEI also prepares patients, and their caregivers, to use PHENPath.com as an effective decision aid when communicating with their doctors about treatments during telemedicine visits.

Virtual webinars are hosted on the second Wednesday of each month via Zoom.
